So Very Close!

This is so much fun! In between completing customer orders we are continuing the work on the first Jackson Tribute character. The quality mechanics have been completed! This character includes moving mouth, self-centering eyes, individual winkers, raising eyebrows, and wiggling ears! The Jackson Tribute characters feature extremely close tolerances, you will notice this on the mouth slots, almost invisible! The wig pictured is not necessarily the one we are going to use, just what I had in stock. What would you like to see for hair on this fellow? Next, paint and headstick!

Fun!

What a fun face! As you can see, the first of this quality series is almost done! The wiggling ears are being installed for a fun and comical effect! This character is for sale, if you are interested, please contact our office at 903-892-4053. Each one of these characters comes with a certificate of authenticity and warranty on the mechanics. More to come!

Work Continues

What a fun day! Nothing like working on a new head design. Today I installed leather winkers, we typically install shell winkers in our heads, but with the Jackson Tribute series we are offering leather winkers, just as Chuck Jackson did. The head pictured will have winkers, raising eyebrows and wiggling ears! Fun!

The Work Continues!

As you can see, the head mold is almost completed on our first Jackson Tribute Character! Today, in between working on customer jobs, I was able to complete the mother mold. I used a material called PlastiPaste, fiberglass works well also, but this sure smells better! More to come!
